What to Bring on Your Grand Canyon Tour

  • Hat & sunglasses
  • Sunblock* and ChapStick
  • Photo ID

    Passengers 18 or older or that appear to be 18 or older must have valid government issued photo ID with date of birth and/or expiration date.

    ID Requirements for Airport Checkpoints
    Acceptable IDs include:
    • U.S. Passport
    • U.S. passport card
    • DHS “trusted traveler” card (NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)
    • US military ID (active duty or retired military and their dependents, and DOD civilians)
    • Permanent resident card
    • Border crossing card
    • DHS - designated enhanced driver’s license
    • Driver's license or other state photo identity card issued by Department of Motor Vehicles
    • Native American tribal photo ID
    • An airline or airport-issued ID (if issued under a TSA-approved security plan)
    • Foreign government-issued passport
    • Canadian provincial driver’s license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) card
    • Transportation worker identification credential (TWIC)

    Non-US/Canadian citizens are not required to carry their passports if they have documents issued by the US government such as permanent resident cards. Those who do not should be carrying their passports while visiting the US.

For Summer Time

  • For your safety we strongly recommend that you wear comfortable, stable shoes that would be appropriate for walking on rocky, uneven ground
  • Dress in light clothing
We suggest during the summer you carry a water bottle*. Keeping hydrated is very important!

For Winter Time

  • Gloves & scarf
  • Hat
  • Coat
  • For your safety we strongly recommend that you wear comfortable, stable shoes that would be appropriate for walking on rocky, uneven ground
At the Grand Canyon it can become windy and the weather can change quickly. So it is important that you dress properly and are prepared for whatever the weather conditions.

*Please Note: Per TSA regulations, liquids in containers with volumes larger than 3.4 oz. are prohibited from being carried onto an airplane. This regulation does not apply to baby formulas, medications and items purchased inside the terminal.
